Chris Kiefer has been performing as Luuma at Algoraves since 2013, and experimenting with combining new interfaces to combine with a text editor, including interactive sculptures and malleable controllers. He also plays a hacked cello with Feedback Cell and Brain Dead Ensemble. He is a researcher in musical instrument design, sound synthesis and machine learning, at the University of Sussex UK, where he is also a member of the Experimental Music Technologies Lab (Emute Lab).
