Deerful

Described by Clash Music as 'a fascinating new songwriting voice', Deerful is Emma Winston, a London-based producer, singer-songwriter, keyboard player, and algorithmic pixie dream girl. She writes electropop in the live-coding language ixi lang about potted plants and feelings, and exists in a perpetual state of being far too excited about making things. In September 2018, she released her second album, Tell Me I Can Fix This On My Own, which examines friendship, personal transformation, loss, and the only episode of Black Mirror with a happy ending, through a series of lovingly-coded songs. She is currently studying for a PhD in Music at Goldsmiths which has absolutely nothing to do with live-coding.
