Sean Cotterill is a digital artist, live coder, musician living and working in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, currently undertaking a PhD at Newcastle University focusing on developing a Free/Libre digital art practice. Cotterill's current projects include reverse-engineered live coded dance music as coï¿¥ï3⁄4¡pt, reconstructed blackwork embroidery for sampler/sampler, and disassembling the proprietary cyborg for howToNotDie.
