Dr Amy Twigger Holroyd is a designer, maker and researcher who has explored the emerging field of fashion and sustainability since 2004. Her work has been featured in many books, publications and exhibitions, from Vogue to Fashion Theory. Amy is a Senior Lecturer in Design, Culture and Context at Nottingham Trent University. Her monograph, Folk Fashion: Understanding Homemade Clothes, was recently published by I.B.Tauris, while a solo exhibition, Units of Possibliity: The Reknit Revolution, was exhibited at Rugby Art Gallery & Museum in Summer 2017.
