Workshop - e-textiles

Access Space
11am-5pm, 12 Nov. 2017

In this workshop lead by Becky Stewart and Sophie Skach from Queen Mary University of London, participants will experiment with different materials to build their own fabric sensors. Working in groups, they will then explore ways to integrate these sensors into garments to capture body movement and create soundscapes from this data. The goal is to turn textiles into musical interfaces and to discover the possibilities of wearable sensor networks.

Registration details to follow.
